Spring

A physical theatre piece performed to ‘Spring’ from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
A 15 minute solo piece written and performed by Tal Jakubowiczova, combining clowning and abstract movement to create physical theatre about one of the most desirable (and yet frightening) things in the world… being on stage.
Seen previously at The Space (London), Blue Elephant Theatre (London), Artscene festival (Belgium) and the New End theatre (London).
“Take your seats, get comfortable and don’t worry, you only need to watch”
Reviews
Combining acting with movement, Tal’s performance was not only moving but also funny and honest.
You fell for the character Tania immediately as she entered the stage wearing silly pyjamas and carrying a huge plat pot filled with hopes, dreams and expectations.
I found it really impressive that Tal kept balancing between comedy and drama, while using her one prop in so many surprising ways that were all equally interesting or beautiful to look at.
When the piece came to an end, the crowd went “We want more!”
I second that.
